hogmaw
On the way back from work tonight I was dismayed to see that the council have put in some new speed bumps. The road they put them on was the last remaining one in my area to get them, and now it means there is no way out for the Supra without having to negotiate the stupid things. However, I was fooking freezing on the way home, cos the heating in the car (Astra) was busted. Then I went over one of the bumps, and it started working full blast! Hooray for speed bumps (sort of)

DaveR
I've got a Do-Luck bumper on the way that I'm terrified will get trashed the first time I drive ANYWHERE around where I live in London. I feel your pain!
SilverSoop
I have a HATRED for speed bumps! I never used to mind them but because when I bought my TT, I have a very low front bumper and unless when I go over a speed bump not more than 2-3 mph, I hear that horrible scraping noise!! My exhaust is the same, that hangs quite low so I have got to get the angle right because if I don't then I scrape my front bumper and my exhaust... This has caused a stress crack to worsen and now has got to the point where it now needs to be fixed! And I have found out that Reading is not Supra friendly for this very reason! Lbm
All speed bumps should be shot! I too hear the unmistakable scrapes of *your car is too low for this- will you ever learn?* noise.
Thorin
The stupidly big unavoidable "speed bump" when entering my estate prevents me from buying something like this. http://www.evo.co.uk/images/front_picture_library_UK/dir_24/car_photo_12222_25.jpg

SilverSoop
It is stupid because probably like everyone else on here, I have to carefully plan my route and watch how the road is because if I don't then I will encouter a bloody speed bump or a scraping noise...Grrrr! I sometimes have to go well out of the way to get to the same destination because of stupid speed bumps and crap roads! Usually, to get to the same destination, I take short cuts but I can't anymore because of the condition of the road: too bumpy, potholes, steep climbs and steep drops and speed bumps! So I have to take the long way around which can somtimes take upto another 10 minutes...ok it's not alot but it's just annoying as hell!
