6Speed Pre Facelift Diff

Recommended Posts

The Supra was fitted with 2 different diff casings, left is an early model 6spd TT diff (B), right is the smaller diff (A) used on ALL other Supra models, including the facelift 6spd TT.

They are interchangeable, but if you swap between the 2 different types, then you also need to replace the rear driveshaft as they are different lengths.

If you are swapping between models eg. auto/manual, NA/TT, J-spec/UK spec then the final drive gearing will be different.

Exactly what are the differences between the driveshafts? We are swapping to a large casing diff and need to know if one or both of our drive shafts will have to be replaced. Our car does also have ABS hubs and the donor car with the large casing diff does not have ABS hubs.

Will the parts fit?
