carl0s
Has anyone got any comments on the quality / effectiveness of this manufacturers equipment based on ownership of the kit ? I don't think Jamie was terribly impressed, but maybe that was just down to the pads he used?
Ark
Apparently they don't have dust seals, so they aren't particularly good as road brakes. Having said that, they are cheap to refurb.
Chris Wilson
The pads they come with are nasty. Upgrade to decent pads and they aren't bad, but not in the same world as the big boys like AP, Brembo and Alcon. There's no such thing as good CHEAP calipers or discs. csa
I got the D2 on org pads, and they are pretty much the same as stock UK breakes. Maybe even worse when hot. But they ARE on the first set of pads. Will be changing to endless pads for next season so we'll see if it helps
David Reid
They are the same as K-Sport and I believe they have a common pad with AP
supra_aero
But you are all forgetting they do look the bees kneez compared to uk & AP brakes.
Chris Wilson
Performance Friction 02 or 93 compound pads transforms them. The stock pads delivered with them have no bite, and little fade resistance, but are quiet and relatively dust free, which, I can only assume, is why they use them. Plus they are probably cheap
StuartW
any pics of said brakes?
JustGav
But you are all forgetting they do look the bees kneez compared to uk & AP brakes. Dunno about you, but I can't see the brakes when I'm jumping on them to stop the car..... I'll stick to UKs
