marc_p
Wasnt Raidyn or something a character from Mortal Combat?! I believe he was;) See, you need cool names, if/when someone permits me to have a child it's going to be Alexa for a girl or one of the above listed for a boy. Oh and i've liked the name Max ever since Mighty Max(anybody remember that? )

Charlotte
I went to school with someone called Francesca Harrington-Horse. Just thought I'd share.
Snooze
I went to school with a guy called Richard Head. He eventually had his name changed when he was 11. There was also another boy in my school who'd been given the middle name "Marigold". There's some messed-up parents in this world!

marc_p
What about Aubrey? Do you want the kid to be bullied and more than likely nicknamed Audrey. heres one that beats all of them KEVIN Not in a good way though;)
j80leo
None of the above. Benjamin is the worst. IMO, it's an OK name for a toddler but for a grown man it's not a good name. Just seems like a kid's name. Do you know any adults who call them self Benjamin? Lewis - OK I suppose, bit boring though. You might as well call him Joshua like everyone else. Joel - will spend his whole life saying "No, Joel, you know, with an L, not Joe" Have you considered "Jake"? . Nice try Jake lol;)
Gazboy
We absolutely hammered a Benjamin at school, called him Benjamina until he cried (even at 15!) though to be fair he was a weapons grade plank.
j80leo
I don't really like any of those because they all remind me of things:- a) Floella Benjamin b) Billy Joel c) John Lewis Not that any of those things are bad....*dig* Ermm how about Harry? The misses ( carly ) wanted Harry but i am unsure about it reminds me of price Harry or Harry Potter:)
j80leo
Im going to reserve my vote until I hear your last name. Can make a difference! Dont want syllable overload. Benjamin Ponson-Smythe is more of a mouthful than Benjamin Jones James my last name is Leigh;)
keancy
Which do you think is best as me and the misses can not agree Lewis Benjamin Joel Im going to reserve my vote until I hear your last name. Can make a difference! Dont want syllable overload. Benjamin Ponson-Smythe is more of a mouthful than Benjamin Jones Hmmm, as someone said without a Surname in connection it's a hard choice as he will live with his name for rest of his life (normaly unless changed). But personally I don't like any of them.

hogmaw
Joel Leigh - beset with problems ("Did you say Joe Leigh?" "No mate, JOEL LEIGH" for the rest of his life") Ben or Benjamin Leigh - OK Lewis Leigh - this is probably the best of the three

Charlotte
Joel Leigh - beset with problems ("Did you say Joe Leigh?" "No mate, JOEL LEIGH" for the rest of his life") Which then sounds like Jolene if said very quickly and then images of Dolly appear.
j80leo
Which then sounds like Jolene if said very quickly and then images of Dolly appear. That is what the misses said it reminds her of that song Jolene Jolene:p

Gazboy
Christ alive mate how could you shortlist Joel with your last name? Know how you feel, I have a short & sharp German last name and picking a name for my son was a nightmare (mainly because all the good names were taken) so named him George, as my Grandad had finished with it 10 years ago. Snooze
I think 3 syllables works best with a 1-syllable surname. What about: Damian Elliot Cameron
