JamesF
Im going to reserve my vote until I hear your last name. Can make a difference! Dont want syllable overload. Benjamin Ponson-Smythe is more of a mouthful than Benjamin Jones

Pot
You know if you call him Benjamin, he's just going to be called Ben by everyone, and after a few years, you will too... Call him something like Whoomp-Tssssh, or Wahey! Wahey Bigglesworth-Smythe will still get him the chicks - But above all, congratulations on the little one (Just don't call him 'Sharks Fin-Whipper Snapper')

Jake
None of the above. Benjamin is the worst. IMO, it's an OK name for a toddler but for a grown man it's not a good name. Just seems like a kid's name. Do you know any adults who call them self Benjamin? Lewis - OK I suppose, bit boring though. You might as well call him Joshua like everyone else. Joel - will spend his whole life saying "No, Joel, you know, with an L, not Joe" Have you considered "Jake"? .
Homer
After seeing your last name, not Lewis, it clashes. Benjamin will be called Ben for the rest of his life. Joel, he'll spend his time telling people how to spell it. Jake, now there's a timeless name
_Shane_
you should name him shane
Jake
you should name him shane They probably want to give their boy a heterosexual name, like "Jake".
Carl_S
Ben because its so obviously classy, and he will have fun with the jackson song, and big ben. Don't hestitate, the rest are poor choices.
Havard
Joel - will spend his whole life saying "No, Joel, you know, with an L, not Joe" How very true!! People ask me what I called my boys, I say that my eldest is Ellis and my little one is called Joellllllllllllllllll. H.
marc_p
How about a cool and slick name like: Max Kaden Raidyn (Japanese for God) Leo Raoul
Snooze
Benjamin is the worst. IMO, it's an OK name for a toddler but for a grown man it's not a good name. Just seems like a kid's name. Do you know any adults who call them self Benjamin? I am a Benjamin, but have always been called Ben. That said, I still think that even "Ben" feels like a slightly odd name for an adult (maybe even one day I'll be one myself!) - most portrayals of "Bens" on TV are generally either kids or American family pets. Swampy442
Whats wrong with normal names like Dave, Keith, Barry... Ive voted for Joel
Charlotte
I don't really like any of those because they all remind me of things:- a) Floella Benjamin b) Billy Joel c) John Lewis Not that any of those things are bad....*dig* Ermm how about Harry? juanchan
How about a cool and slick name like: Max Raidyn (Japanese for God) The boy done good! I was going to suggest Max as I've recently met a couple of people called that, and I quite like it. Wasnt Raidyn or something a character from Mortal Combat?! Jake is a good choice also, but in my eyes will forever be linked to dogs, as it's the name of my parents german shepherd!
