Homer
Very nice transformation I'm not a fan of bodykits, but that does look good, the wheels really finish it off. Dare I ask how much it set you back to do all that? It looked a bit unloved before!

JamesF
Thats stunning. Ive always wanted a Trial rear, then bought a black car and had a massive D'oh moment as I realised the body colour/undertray contrast thing wouldnt work as they were both black. I'd often thought about the matt black/unpainted undertray look against normal bodywork and it works! Two thumbs up! By undertray, I know its part of the bumper, but it sounds better than saying "bottom bit"

By undertray, I know its part of the bumper, but it sounds better than saying "bottom bit" I know exactly what you mean. I was on the verge of painting the car in RSP pretty much just to get the contrast on the rear diffuser and front lip on the do-luck but i think it is subtle but still noticable in black. Luxluc
Wow ... what a transformation. I have partially the same bodykit on mine ... and can confirm that I also had to do some work on my Trial rear from Replikit to have it fit correctly. Great looking car you have ... bennyc45
After sorting the outside i wanted peice of mind for the engine itself so i took the car yesterday over to Lee P who gave it a general once over and a compression test. Results were a minor oil leak not essential to fix immediately and a good compression result which is a good indication it is a genuine 64k car Compression: 1: 195 2: 194 3: 192 4: 191 5: 191 6:
flyby
I bought a do luck front, trial rear and veilside sideskirts from REPLIKIT which were very reasonable. I initially had alot of trouble with the kit and fitting it but they very kindly came over and bitted, bent and shaved bits to make it fit for me. Couple pics of the kit and offering them up. So this trial was not a perfect fit?
bennyc45
no not at first. Its all good now though. it was tight in a few places and needed to be shaved a little here and there. looks the biz though
