Matt H
M&S do a range of Belgium choc, of which one of them is to die for; the while and milk chocoloate summer fruits. I had to ask the counter as i couldn't get my head around it. For £1.89 you get a single bag of the chocs, but for 11p extra, you get 3 bags?!?! lol. Don't know how they worked that one out but hey, i'm happy
jamesmark
I take it they were on offer? Back in the day when I worked in retail we had such offers, lost leaders they were called iirc. Put on specials that the company losses money on to get customers through the door and hope that revenue gained from other purchases makes up the difference. Quite a good deal and good way of working tbh.
RedM
Still not as good as the old Asda soup deal. 33p each or three for a pound. Hmm.....

Yeah, "buy 3 for £2.00", but it wasn't advertised like something to get people through the door, just on the same label on the shelf in the same font format text that the actual price was on / in. Suppose if people know about the deal then they will go in to get them but it wasn't in your face.

Supragal
White and milk chocoloate summer fruits. I like the sound of the offer but not of that flavour, chocolate and fruit combo... not convinced. What is it actually like? Chunks of fruit or like a paste like in revels etc? Supragal
Not a strawberries and Chocolate fan then Chocolate = pudding Fruit = health food My brain struggles with the concept of integrating the 2. Although I do like pear and chocolate tart... Oh I don't know. Just sounds wrong...

jamesmark
Fruit = health food... Not all healthy, the amount of natural sugar in fruit is frightening. There is a vegetarian restaurant in Edinburgh that does the most amazing chocolate mouse and comes with a nice fruit salad too. Both go down a treat

Chunks of fruit or like a paste like in revels etc? I was a bit sceptical when i first tried them, as was everyone else in the office when i passed them round today, but they really work. The centre (the fruit bit) is like a mix of a biscuit type consistency with sharp tastes of fruity bits like the type of stuff you get in perhaps cereal?! Hard to describe, but it is a taste sensation!! You’ll have to try em now to see
Max Headroom
In Morrison's they had "buy 240 PG tips T-Bags for the price of 160" at £3.17, and further down the store they had "240 PG Tips half price" at £2.17 Can't see the logic there!! Makes perfect logic to be honest, see post 2. Also on occassions companies such as PG, Coca Cola, walkers etc etc run there own promotion to promote their products.
