Stealth-1JZ
Bare in mind folks they only sell 95octane at the pumps over there so make sure you have your bc wound down to about 0.9bar if you have one or your engine may go pop if you get excited on the loud pedal! I found out the hard way and it was a very costly mistake. good luck to all who makes the trip. I wouldnt trust the E5 stuff too much it says on the pump to contact your vehicle manufacturer before filling either way i wouldnt run more than 0.9bar to be safe. no no thats on the E85 pumps as thats 85% ethanol and 15% 95ron its ment to be something like 109ron ifink and would indeed wreck the engine unless it has the mods to run ethanol E5 on the other hand is on sale at every maxol station in the country as it replaced there normal stuf about a year ago. its the exact same as the tesco 99 Ron in the UK iv been useing it about 7 months now and the last 3 with the BC runing at 15psi and an unmaped EMB with no drama. The E5 pump quotes to contact manufacturer before filling ive seen it. you are right enough though that it has measured up to 99ron i just read it there so happy days if its what it says it is. My engine blew up before that fuel was available so thats why i was a little apprehnsive about fuel over there but thanks for the info bud. supramkivcork
Due to a couple of unforeseen circumstances, the date of this weekend will have to postponed until the weekend of the 28/29th March. I've spoken to Mick from the skyline owners club who will be informing that forum. It's best to have it on this date as there are certain cars that would have been VERY doubtful for original date. Apoligies for any inconvenience caused ladies & gents. Mark
