Nice one, played the card well

hogmaw
Are you BNP Paul?
Paul
No, honestly mate I'm not. I just find it interesting when things like this come up, surely raises a question to why he complained in the first place. Also having said he wasn't after money at the beginning, anyone else would be slammed. I just like to question it, not so wrong?
hogmaw
He gets the money to pay for the loss of his job & future earnings, the aggro and probably legal fees too. He would not have got the payout if he didn't have a case. The police would rather pay him off now than show their dirty laundry in public. What's so wrong with the BNP anyway? Paul
I didn't say anything was wrong with them did I ? 'He gets the money to pay for the loss of his job & future earnings, the aggro and probably legal fees too. He would not have got the payout if he didn't have a case. The police would rather pay him off now than show their dirty laundry in public.' So that's fact then is it, or the way you like to see it ? n boost
Obviously the police did not want this to be in public/media eye and therefore have admitted IMHO that there was some wrong doing by giving him the money.
Gazboy
F*** me have you seen this guy's pension? £522,000 then index linked £85,000pa - for 34 years service!
Paul
OK, but more to the point is this guys principles, or lack of, especially after making the earlier statement and he is now willing to accept a cash settlement rather than helping clean up the Met and helping fellow officers in the future.
