michael Posted November 25, 2008 Share Posted November 25, 2008 Popped out in the pool car at lunchtime and the previous driver had left Radio 2 on... it was some kind of story about the WI being used to check for whores advertising in newspapers and telephone boxes. Anyway they had a phone in and a lady called in with a very posh voice and came out with the following: After the last recession a friend of mine found himself with 2 options, shoot himself in the head or open a brothel. How the heck do you come up with those 2 things as being your only options in life? Daddy or chips is one thing but this seems a bit odd to me. It seemed that the government want the Women's Institute to search for "massage" adverts which might be for women who have been trafficked into the UK and are working under duress. Last I heard, kidnapping, false imprisonment, threatening people with violence, illegal immigration, living off immoral earnings, and running a brothel were all criminal offences.
