DanGX
Hi guys, I have a very annoying squeaking sound from the back of the car and it's all the time when I drive. When I don't move - no noise. It sounds like it's coming from the back ,and mildly worrying, it sounds like its rubbing metal or when a train brakes. Saying that when I noticed no smell and checked the discs and they 'seemed' fine, but I have about as much mechanical skill as a penguin. Any ideas? DanGX
Having now driven to work, it sounds like a keening/whining - very much how the mini sounds like when starts of drives slowly - although even half as pleasant sounding! I think it may be come from one the rear wheels - at least that's what it sounds like while sitting in the driving seat.

DanGX
Just an update - turned out to be brake pads needed to be replacing. Was I making a fuss over nothing or what!
