ivan
LOL - my front doorbell has just rang so I answered it to find yet another flaming door-to-door salesman standing there with his clipboard held up in front as some sort of identification! Instead of snapping "NO thanks" though, I nearly laughed out loud when I heard his spiel. "Hello, I'm from Anglian. We've just dropped our prices for the rest of 2008 - is there anything you'd like?" And then he stood there politely waiting for my answer. When I answered "No thank you." he just turned away and left. He'll go far that one - not. bromy
You should have asked for a bowl of piping hot pea and ham soup.
Chewie
I had a guy trying to get me to change energy provider. I said "Do I look like I'm the kind of person who saves money? If I want to save money I'd get rid of that", pointing at the Supe, "And get one of those", pointing at the Fiesta across the road. He too got the message. RICHARDA
This very same evening I had some sales person at my door and I explained I was just about to eat my dinner (politely), but this wanker had a right attitude made my want to go after him and give him a shoeing. But they know where you live you see. Thats better.
