ozz
Yup, love this kind of stuff. Being trying to get the original series but difficult without spending a fair wad.

I wouldn't mind seeing the original series, too. When I started looking into what non-movie stuff is already out there I was quite surprised as there is a LOT. examples: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_apocalyptic_and_post-apocalyptic_fiction#Television I watched the Omega Man preview via Xbox live earlier today. I wouldn't mind seeing that too.
PJ
Got it on at the moment, quite good so far.

If you like this type of thing there is an excellent book series called The Survivor by Jerry Ahern. Awesome series, about 27 books in total. I have 1-24, the last 3 or 4 cost more than the whole collection, can go for £40 for each paperback as they only went through first print. The Last Man (2000) is another odd film, got 7of9 from Voyager in it. The new series actually looks really good, really want to find the original now! RiceRocket
Nah I reckoned it was another "Bonekickers" production rather than "Life On Mars"'s.
RedM
95% of all people dead? That'd still be about 3 million people in the UK. Where were they all?

JamesF
Parts of it were filmed near me between Oswaldtwistle and Accrington
RedM
Parts of it were filmed near me between Oswaldtwistle and Accrington By a weird coincidence none of it was filmed anywhere near me.
Charlotte
Nooo just things I think ooooh I'd like to watch that and promptly forget about it. For example that Kurt Cobain thing that's been advertised with him talking about his son - no idea when it was on and I forgot to watch it! ivan
A couple of surprises in those who died and those who survived (Freema Agyeman didn't last very long - or will she reappear?) but otherwise fairly predictable, stock BBC SciFi type stuff really. I missed the original series as I was abroad so I'm coming to this one afresh.
