I wouldn't touch even a Supra wih >100k on it... saying that >60k would put me off.

Why is this Mike ?

I know the usual reasons for people being put off such like worn parts etc. But a 60K Supra engine would only need a cambelt/oil service and is will still pull as hard as a 30-40K engine for example.

If the car has been serviced with a full history and there is no excessive corrosion then the good thing with a high milage motor is that you are getting it cheaper than a low milage one.

Just interested as to why some people see a certain milage figure and then say 'no way' ?

WAS there not someone who run the supra to near 200k miles?

So mike is more or less saying he wouldnt touch a uk spec? cant be to many left with less than 100k on them and maybe one or two left with less than 60k

Milage wouldn't bother me, the overall condition of the car would. If it's straight, clean and in good nick then I see no problems here.

If you look at the adverts of all these cars you will notice that condition and milage are not entwined or one being an indication of the other.
