CJ
Yes, it's officially winter here on Kos. Yesterday we had a shower that lasted all of 15 minutes and today we have several big clouds in the sky. Methinks it's time to get the long johns out! caseys
If you think that's bad... I'm going to Malaysia in January to celebrate Chinese New Year with family. The lowest ever recorded temperature in Malaysia (Day/night/winter/summer) is 18 degrees celcius.
CJ
I'm also lucky enough to have got myself a job for the winter. I work in another cafe bar from 13.00 - 19.00 seven days a week. That alleviates any boredom, gives me extra money and still allows me to go out in the mornings and nights.

My "friend" is Malaysian and hails from Jahore I don't believe it is, but a bonus if it is as I've always wanted to experience a monsoon. Not been to Jahore myself, I'm going to Penang for 10 days then a brief stint over in Singapore I do envy the lifestyle you have in Jos! Think it'll be a few years yet until I get that kind of relaxed living.
Lbm
Out of interest, what made you chose Kos, I'm guessing a previous holiday?
CJ
Out of interest, what made you chose Kos, I'm guessing a previous holiday? It was indeed. I first came here about 10 years ago and loved the place. I then continued to holiday every year and made friends amongst the Greek community. I then had an offer of work and so took the plunge. Yeah- I feel a similar way about Corfu- NE bit of the Island, Kalami- not the Kavos (Chavos?) part. Probably not much call for martial arts tuition and or wedding covers bands though

I used to run a printing company prior to coming out here and now see myself running bars, entertaining and generally faffing about!
Pete
Sounds positively dreadful. I so want to be at our other home... I was trying to work out this week how I could sell everything here and how much we'd still have on the mortgage. Alas - the numbers don't add up. I'll have to settle with trying to become a millionaire first.
Havard
I'll have to settle with trying to become a millionaire first. Or shack up with one..........I would imagine female millionaires are not easy to find Pete. You could always try and fake a gay relationship??? H.
