Ark
What's that all about??? I switched on my xbox to shoot terrorists in the face, and had to mess about creating a goofy childish avatar first! Come on! This isn't kindergarten here! Havard
What's that all about??? I switched on my xbox to shoot terrorists in the face, and had to mess about creating a goofy childish avatar first! Come on! This isn't kindergarten here! I was not impressed. I had 20 mins to kills so thought a quick gae of COD4 would have been good and give some of those Yanks and spanking!! 20 minutes to download the new layout and it seems a bit kack to me..... H. Mike
It's alright... a bit different... mine seems to have lost the connection with my PC, which is annoying What do they call the characters? they look a lot better than Mii's or whatever... I haven't tried having a 'party' yet or playing any of the avatar games... suspect they will develop it as they go. At least it shows they do look at the competition and try to give the market what it wants - I wonder how long it will be before they bring out a motion controller. SteveR
What do they call the characters? I haven't tried having a 'party' yet or playing any of the avatar games... I skipped the download entirely, but only temporarily as I can't go online as a result. My mate in my office skipped the avatar creation process by returning to the dashboard when that whole process kicked off.
Mike
That's a bit generic isn't it? can't they call them XBoxers or something?!
3LL
got it last night, yet again another example of microsoft goin to far. wow, its more animated, its also a lot harder to navigate and not really relevant to me what my virtual avatar looks like. all in all a crap update and a waste of god knows how much cash on microsofts part. would have much rather they left it as it was and opted to make the xbox live free! Mike
Like Barry McGuigan or Frank Bruno? You're so in the wrong job I just bought a book you might be interested it 'No Wave: Post-Punk. Underground. New York 1976-1980' - basically the death if NY Punk post 1976 and all of the Art-core bands that came along in it's wake... interesting stuff. It gives a different spin on the origins of Punk
jefferson
at the risk of being unpopular, i actually quite like it - notice my new avatar on here is my new gamer picture i agree it is now very much like both the wii and ps3 but both these machines came out after the 360 so microsoft have had to do something to update - i, for one, think it is a good response:p

TTRickeh
I wish the 'community games' were free. What exactly do I pay my xbox live fee for? Wii online is free, so is the PS3 isn't it? Getting something free from Microsoft is like getting blood out of a stone I even wait the extra 6 months/year til the newer halo maps are free.
