Thought id just update this a little for those that where interested and or cared.

 

Started trading yesterday, thus far Southen and scottish power have sent me 20 jobs!!!! And this in the middle of summer. Without any from Npower, EoN, and my self advertised work.

 

Happy days indeed

That is excellent news.

 

Obviously you don't need straightforward common sense advice from twerps like me, but really go the extra mile for those first jobs - a good first impression will go a long, long way.

Though i must say im very upset you didnt come to me to be your accountant! haha!

Not quite no, The goverment will cover all but £199 of the cost in some cases thats a 450 grant. When i was talking to the big cheese however that might be cut down to 150 or even 100. Which you would save with ease in the first year. God bless carbon targets.

 

I should add over 70s get it free too.

 

The government are virtually bankrupt, the only money they have is what poor working saps like me pay them. Aside from wishing you luck, I have to say I don't want my taxes being spent on insulation for some work shy dossers :(

Well its more you energy supplyers, who in turn are being forced to shell out by the goverment.

 

Over 70s are free,

 

BUT everyone can get a grant to help with the cost. Ie a 4 bed detached house would see you paying £199 while the grant will pick up the rest

 

even you chris get a grant to pay for your house to be done:d

Small bump

 

 

After alot of hard work, pain, dog bites, flu, and falling from high places i can say this was the best thing ive ever done.

 

The work is gritty and sometimes dam right nasty but im now booked till mid jan

 

To anyone thinking of starting on your own, stick with it and dont give up
