Ace
That is excellent news. Obviously you don't need straightforward common sense advice from twerps like me, but really go the extra mile for those first jobs - a good first impression will go a long, long way. Chris Wilson
Not quite no, The goverment will cover all but £199 of the cost in some cases thats a 450 grant. When i was talking to the big cheese however that might be cut down to 150 or even 100. Which you would save with ease in the first year. God bless carbon targets. I should add over 70s get it free too. The government are virtually bankrupt, the only money they have is what poor working saps like me pay them. Aside from wishing you luck, I have to say I don't want my taxes being spent on insulation for some work shy dossers

Over 70s are free, BUT everyone can get a grant to help with the cost. Ie a 4 bed detached house would see you paying £199 while the grant will pick up the rest even you chris get a grant to pay for your house to be done:d
