Scott Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 I know there was a bit of interest in these in the past and so I have been given the go ahead to do a group buy. I have 16 pairs available and they all come hand polished. They are made from aircraft grade aluminium. The higher the grade of aluminium the better the polish that can be achieved, and also the longer it will last without oxidising. This is the highest grade of this material available. As you can see from the pictures one of the knobs has a marker, as per the OEM unit. This has been precisely milled into the face, and blackened, to give a nice clean finish to them. They are also a press fit so no glue or double sided tape is required. Simply line up the one with the marker to the one already on the car and press it on firmly, the other one is even easier as there is no marker. This will literally take you 30 seconds to do. If you fancy a set just add your name to the list. I'll leave the group buy open for 10 days and will then start shipping them out. The only thing I need to sort out in the meantime is packaging. All sets are, otherwise, ready to go. I’ll get better pictures of them up including what they look like fitted if there is a demand for it. Only about two sets of the hundreds I did a while back walked. Just so you know there is no need to send recorded as Royal Mail have a standard insurance of £37. If you have your receipt you are covered. (Thought it might save you some posting time).
