Want-One
Hi, My swordtails have recently started breeding (and haven't yet stopped!) [ANGRY][/ANGRY] - I thought they were both girls! They are only a few days old so won't be ready for about a month, they grow to between 2 and 3 cm long and are really active fish. They won't all fit in my tank when they grow up. If you would like some of the babies (free) when they are a bit bigger let me know. I have about 11 fry. The male is orange with a black tail and fins, the female is black with white patches - the babies are still developing their colours but will be a combination of the parent's colours http://www.tropicalfishexpert.co.uk/swordtails.html

paul mac
hmmmm i had this problem, i have a large planted tank with mercury vapour lights, its more like a botanical garden than a fish tank, i made the mistake of introducing a few guppys and due to the amount of plants it was impossible to remove said guppies without wrecking the tank, the solution came in the way of a juvenile male angel fish, he's now grown up and about 6" deep and about 5" long with an orange forehead , he's a beaut and a gliding silent assassin, i no longer have any guppys
