Almost a technical question.

Been onto Toyota for some "Forlife" and they tell me theres 2 types red & green....apparnetly the red is for japanese cars and the green is for european. Anyone heard of this before? and if Im a UK car does that mean I need to get the green stuff?

I think the colours explanation is bollox - the different colours are for different models. I've always bought forlife red (this is the one for the Supra) for many Toyotas and never had a problem with it.

They told me red is for older cars and green is for newer ones. I asked which one was better and they told me they wouldn't say! More like they don't know themselves. I bought red, as that's what my car (celica) had from new.

Thats exactly what Toyota Isleworth said. Green for UK Spec Sups and Red for Jap Spec Sup.

they didnt know what the difference was.

I went for Red.

He is right, its due to the freezing temperatures of it. We should be using red as our winters are cold. Toyota are slightly wrong, the green is for the Export spec Supra to the US where cold isnt that much of an issue.

Hope this helps.
