I.e. whoever fitted it went "That doesn't work, I'll have to run it manually". I too suspect that it might not fix your problem unfortunately, but you stil have to do it to rule out an obviously not-right thing first Moving the ECU and loom around while trying to start it it a good way of seeing if it's pin connections or a bad solder joint. -Ian Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dangerous brain Posted December 5, 2008 Author Share Posted December 5, 2008 Finally the AEM is getting repaired this weekend. Am I better off plugging my stock ecu back in after clipping those wires and seeing if I get the faint aroma of burning? Bit cheaper to replace a stocker than an AEM.
