BJ_dpc
The owner doesn't want to sell it for parts and loves Supra so much that he doesn't want without one. (he owned this one 10 days before he crashed) Car will go to an excellent bodyshop and soon will be as new. Chassis allready went on original Supra Moulds and this is still straight!! Happily the damage looks much worse than it is. Anyone knows if the wishbones, steering rack, shock etc are simular to a Jspec? I got another jspec here so i will check and compare tomorrow but if anyone can tell me it saves me some extra work! .....and the colour.....well lets put it nicely...NOT MY FIRST CHOICE EITHER! TLicense
The kind of idiot that is going fast enough to cause that much damage in a residential area doesn't deserve to have a Supra.....

BJ_dpc
I got it standing here at my shop next to the old car of gaz from Envy. I'm still working on buying it from that guy goes i prefer to have the steering wheel on the left side. I think by the end of the week i can say it's mine! bignum
Bits off a j-spec will fit yes, apart from brakes maybe different.
BJ_dpc
Thanks mate! Then i can go after some parts!
Ian C
I certainly wouldn't trust that hub, the wheel bearing would have been the first thing to start absorbing the force. And if the brake disc snapped who knows what happened to the caliper. Best idea would be to get the whole hub/carrier/caliper and suspension arms components from a writeoff that has rear end opposite side damage. Speak to Jezz on here, he can supply such things and has a very good reputation -Ian
Chris Wilson
Replace everything from (and including) the wishbones to the wheel and tyre. I'd strongly advise putting another PAS rack on it. It'll also need an ABS sensor, and brake hose. Personally I'd put it out of its misery....
BJ_dpc
Thanks for your advise! What exactly do you mean with PAS rack? (my english is sometimes not that good;) )
Chris Wilson
Power assisted steering. PAS racks do not like huge shock loads inputted down the track rods, they blow seals, valves, et cetera, plus you can't be sure what such shocks have done to the metallurgy. extendor
Unless it is done by a professional motor engineer who can warrant the repairs it is a DEATH TRAP. Whoever drives it has no repsect for others or themselves (how much damage in a residential area!!!!!) and will certainly thrash the car again. Next time they might not walk away. BJ_dpc
Chris, thanks! I will go after that. Totally agree. The ass started sliding and he tried to steer it back... The result we see...didn't really went like planned i guess! He still wants to keep a Supra but i'm advising him to stop with that thought untill he's a little older and have more experience in driving fast cars. This is what happens if people drive a fast car without any experience luckely nobody got hurt! The repair will be done by one of the best craftsman i know the chassis is still ok that's allready checked.
