BJ_dpc
After having a little accident with the sidewalk i've got a car here where the left front wheel snaped off. It's a EU spec car with LHD.I think the parts i need are the same as UK spec or Jpec? Or am i missing something.. I'm looking for the parts that i need to get it on the road again only my English is not that good that i know how the name all the parts that i need. Can anyone help me out? The wheel snaped off on the hub, so all the bearings are out, steering ?? broke off, suspension , balljoint, fusee etc.. Someone has something laying around or knows where to get it please let me know! Thanks Bjorn Edited November 15, 2008 by BJ_dpc (see edit history)

Luka-P
Get your list sorted here and then post an ad in the wanted section. Shipping will probably be an issue as these items will weigh a ton.
TTRickeh
Damn, how fast were you going? I've just gone into a kerb as well and slightly buckled my wheel. I feel a slight wobble in the steering wheel, but I bet you feel more than that!
RobSheffield
And you would need to become a club member before being allowed to post in the parts wanted section
BJ_dpc
No problem for becoming a member. But till this point i have no idea how to name all the things i'm looking for so if someone can help me with that, will be great! Someone was driving the car and he was claiming to drive around 30kph.. i have my doubts!
ilicos
Usually, most parts are the same, but the problem will be if you need a rack and pinion as they are different on a left hooker.
Konrad
Euro version is basically the same like UK spec one, so to be on a safe side you could order for UK spec

Dnk
Youll need to check the steering rack isnt damaged and the brake caliper could also have non obvious damage as well where the brake line attaches. Parts you'll definetly need by the look of it are Wheel hub (complete) Upper wishbone Lower wishbone Track Rod Damper (shock absorber) Brake pipe to caliper And all the nuts and bolts for the above Edited November 16, 2008 by Dnk (see edit history)

BJ_dpc
This week i will bring the wheels to a repair shop. They did a great job once for me so i hope they can do it again. The wheelhub still looks ok, steering rack you mean that steel thing that goes from the steeringhouse to the wheel? The brake cilinder still looks fine, only the disc is in 4 pieces. Will put up some detailed pictures later so you guys can tell me what i need!
Dnk
I wouldnt take any chances with any of the parts that look okay, hairline cracks would be hard to spot. I'd be changing all of it as thats had quite a whack, better safe than sorry ! The steering rack and track rod arrowed in yellow Edited November 16, 2008 by Dnk (see edit history)
SpeedyAndy
i don't think he was going 30kph, because that's slower than 30 mphs and Ive hit the kerb in my little clio ( wen i still had it ) at 60mph and i broke drive shaft in 3 places / wishbone snap straight off / broke the disc in 3 places, just say the wheel ended up underneath the car at the side so just say i done the best job going, and it seems like his done the same. I would personally replace all of it, although it all looks fine to you and every one esle but you could of done damage that you cant see, that's the mistake i made, thinking this and that was fine when really i put new drive shaft in / wishbone etc and i could never get the tracking right, always shaking coming from the wheel, anti roll bar joint always kept snapping at the link every time i turned corner, so from experience, i would replace the lot mate to be hones. Save than sorry!
BJ_dpc
Thanks for all the reply's! After reading all your experiences i think it's better to play save indeed! Thanks for the good detailed picture, both the rack and track i need to replace than!
Havard
Looks like you have had complete lower ball joint failure and this has ripped the other fittings clean out...... I would get as much of that area replaced if you could. If wan't some second hand parts then I would contact either Keron or Jezz on here. The price of new parts from Toyota will not be cheap. They quoted me £340 just for a lower wishbone.... H.
edge
Try this http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ You will have to enter your frame/chassis number. You may be able to see what you need in some of the pictures.
bignum
I`d be surprised something else isn`t bent, ie chassis, subframe with that amount of damage.
