JamesG
I'll never get sick of watching the shuttle launch. Incredible. Watching it on NASA TV. Shame that the BBC News coverage is always so woeful.

JustGav
Chuffed to bits that others share my enthusiam for this sort of thing. Yes, it is a bit geeky, but sadly the space program has been hammered with issues over the years, and frankly isn't as exciting for people as it was in the 60's and 70's. Pot
Watching the replays now (As I'm sure you lot are), I didn't know you'd see the rocket seperation from the ground (Although thinking about it, with Challenger, I guess you would) - This looked nice though (To me at least)

Pot
I've got an envelope a few feet behind me from NASA, when I called the number I saw in the HHGTTG, that I called, and said 'Er, Hi, I like space ', they sent me loads of pictures and info, and in true US style, spelt Stuart Stoart :S
JustGav
the numbers that thing puts out are awesome! thats one hell of a big single! Would you believe it is actually a set of twins There are two pressure systems blowers (the SSME's equiv of turbo chargers), first one gets it up to low pressure and the 2nd one really pushes it. I forget the figures but low pressure is still silly high
