AdzC
Just wondered if anybody could recommend a good site that offers a service of uploading a digital photo to be put onto a canvas. There are a few I have found whilst searching but was after some personal experiences with any. Thinking about having a nice picture of the Supra blown up for a bit of modern art. GeordieSteve
I used these lot. Can't fault them at all http://www.photo-on-canvas.co.uk/
AdzC
Thanks Steve. The image I have at the moment was taken on a 3mp camera but it is my favourite of the Supra at the moment. Will the resolution be OK for a nice clean image or do you think i would be better taking another photo with a higher resolution camera? GeordieSteve
Mine was taken on a veeeery poor camera but it still looks great. Suppose it depends on how much you want to scale up p.s. jump on the site and upload your pic, they show you how it will look

AdzC
I think that before I commit I will give the car a clean and try and take some more shots with different scenery and pick the best one, or maybe even have a montage of the best ones. Does anybody have any advice or links to help get the best out of photographing a car? Think I want to go for a night scene with lighting in the backdrop. IDO
I could do this at work.. I am a artworker/designer and studio manager at a graphic display company.. can do canvas or even photographic prints to pretty much any size.. (could do graphic effects on pics if requested?) If there is a large call for this maybe i'll talk to the mods for a "hobbyist"..
AndrewOW
I do like the idea of this, as I wouldn't mind a few of my car done, and stick them up on the wall at home. I've got some decent hi-res images, but they are a couple of years old, and this would spur me on to get some new ones done
Branners
this guy on Ebay seems to be good value http://stores.ebay.co.uk/kidspix08 no idea on quality though. I have ordered something from this ebay person so will let you all know what the quality is like. I will also see if I can get a fixed price deal from them for any photo on to small canvas. keener
I use http://www.ampmtechnicalservices.com/index.htm for all my canvases. Top quality and very reasonable prices. Give them a buzz and talk to Pierre and he'll let you know all about resolution, what size you could go up to, etc. I highly recommend them! Branners
I contacted the company directly that I recommended above and they have said they can print any picture you want on to canvas. Their prices are as follows 10x12inch £15.00 15x20inch £20.00 20x25inch £40.00 25x30inch £50.00 They can be contacted on [email protected]. If anybody gives them a go let me know. Their prices on ebay do seem much cheaper so maybe ask about discounts. regards JB

Whitesupraboy2
I'm wanting to get something done like this. I'm after getting a pic altered at same time into maybe roy litechstein style (bright inverted colours best description) or maybe warhol style. Any opinions be good. Its Xmas present a pic of the Girlfriends friends for her present. Surely got to be some brownie points!!
