KaoriFan
i know since the last time these threads were done technology has changed even more, and higher spec for the same pricing points. I am thinking of buying a DV Camcorder this next few days for my vacation to Hong Kong. i know i can buy there, but i would like to have a record of things soon as i arrive at HKIA. I don't need anything to hi-spec as mostly i will be working with my Nikon D200. camcorder is only a backup to have some video footage. appreciate any advice that anyone has on make and models, also best option for storage/media (have seen SD and HDD) cheers in advance Ian

KaoriFan
I have just noticed how much you are looking to spend, I couldn't let it go for that, but if you can go up a bit give me a shout;) hi, it is a nice camera, for sure. As i shoot mainly stills photography, i am really only looking for something that i can use on my vacation, so really am looking to get something around the 150 - 200mark, ideally around the 150UK mark. i do appreciate the offer, and if i was more into video side of things, i would have been interested, even at a higher price. thanks once again, Ian (p.s. thanks for the PM)
