bright 1
Hi everybody, Im getting a knocking noise coming from front of car, when pulling away at full lock, almost feels like the wheels are hopping, any ideas engine mounts bushes etc, if so I live in bristol and does anyone know a good garage that I could check out. Nic
Common cause of knock on full lock is loose sub frame or suspension bolts. Get the car on a ramp and get all the bolts torqued up to see if it cures the problem, also check for play in all the suspension bushes/joints. bodilx6
I've got some "knocking" that up front right sounds like something is grinding a bit. In the back i've also got some knocking in both sides but only when its raining (?). I've recently had my dampers changed, so can this be an issue with bolts not being torqued correctly? Fx too much/litte or if thightened when the wheel is not standing on ground/lift?
