Tricky-Ricky
It isn't about money. Some of the biggest prats I've ever met could afford to wipe their arses on £50 notes and wouldn't flinch when presented with a five figure bar tab, some of the most sound people I've met haven't got 2 pennies to rub together. Taste, common sense, decency, manners, decorum, etiquette, a sound moral compass and intelligence are all free. I agree, and IMO some people need to curb their grammar school playground attitudes, bad grammar and spelling are not always a precursor to low intelligence, or bad judgement and lack of taste, however text speak and racing Saxos often is;)

We are not writing novels or journals, just having a laugh most of the time. Some people take it much too seriously. Not saying yourself, but some are forever correcting others for minor typos. marc_p
Text speak is incredibly annoying and there have been quite a few posts where people struggle to string a single sentence together. I don't think he means txt speak but the more petty pull-up's on spelling things like you're, your, etc.

Lbm
Nope. You're both wrong if you think "had it's share of idiots" is correct. So then It's had its share...etc Edited November 12, 2008 by Lbm (see edit history)
Jake
So then Its had its share...etc That would be "It's had its share of idiots." It's = contraction of "It has" its = possessive pronoun, not a contraction.
hoff
So then It's had its share...etc Sounds right to me:) Staying on a grammer side of things, I heard that they (whoever they may be) were thinking of doing away with the apostrophe all together:blink:
