I have a mini-DV camcorder already, but it's due an upgrade if I can find something suitable.

 

Basically I want something that's mini-DV again, but has a wide® angle lens so when I stick it to my front windscreen I see more of the track.

 

Does such a thing exist? I don't really care about HD unless that gives me a wider angle - but I would imagine it would be the optics rather than the format.

 

Any experts on here? :)
