xeno
The other day I was removing my Veilside rear wing, then had to pop out. I'd forgotten that all the spanners and stuff were still loose in the boot. I pulled over only a short way from home, popped the boot, left the engine running and went round the back to tidy up the tools. I shut the boot with my jacket caught in it. The keys were in the ignition, and there was no way I was gonna reach the boot release lever in the front. I stood and laughed out loud at what I'd done, then tore the front of my jacket off, trying to pull it out of the boot. I found the whole thing highly amusing and kept chuckling to myself for the rest of the day. Regards Terry.

Jazzy
Why didn't you just take your jacket off and open the boot with the in-car release?
xeno
I did think that afterwards, but at the time I thought it might just come out if I pulled at it. Once it had started to rip, I just went for it.
Scooter
class If only Ed had been there he'd have helped you out............or not
xeno
Not seen that thread before. Now that's class. Had I have been of the same mind as Ed, I would not have gotten into that predicament as I would have needed the keys to open the boot in the first place.
