merckx
A good programme on channel four started at nine, they're digging up a First World War bunker. The Lost WWI Bunker: A Time Team Special Monday 10 November 9:00pm - 10:35pm Channel 4 Archaeological series. Marking the 90th anniversary of the end of World War I, Tony Robinson joins an unprecedented archaeological expedition in search of a perfectly preserved bunker, or dugout, called the Vampir. Beneath the paralysed front in Belgium, elite tunnelling companies created a deep maze of tunnels and dugouts, which was the only safe place to hide when shelling made the surface hell above. Dave17
I'm not sure about good, this looks alot like the same rubbish time team did about the missing dock up North. I love TT but their specials always seem to be half assed.

I always enjoy watching programmes about the two world war's, this programme gave a great insight into what it was like for some of the soldiers. Dave17
I agree, I take back my previous comment. It was really concise and factual. If I'd been there though I would have said sod the safety! Dig out the collapse and the slides and get in there!
