supspower
Just to clarify with my engine idling I took the plug out of the TPS and nothing changed did the same to the ICV and nothing changed i no theres suppose to be a difference in the TPS but what about the ICV, am i right in saying i have a faulty TPS? cheers
Rob
IIRC it should step up in revs if you remove the plug from the TPS, if the engine is idling at 900 or less. Obviously if its iding at 2000rpm, you won't see a change in revs when you pull the TPS plug.
Guest skylined_gtr
Hi mate I'm near St Neots, have a 1JZ-GTE Soarer, came across your post as I was looking for info on the TPS resistance readings. Welcome to pop over and measure and compare if you like? I have a rough idea on what they should be or if you have a multi-meter/voltmeter I can tell you what the resistance needs to be? JustGav
The resistances are listed in the service manual somewhere... will have a look...
