When life deals you a few bad cards, it always pays dividends in another way

Hi guys,

Well I've had a pretty crap year and still have not managed to sort out my health issues, same widespread chronic joint pain that has not been diagnosed. The Royal Air Force also fell through and even though I'm still on their records to join and my ankle injuries have healed fully, there's no way I can join with this pain. I was also due to be made redundant at work and this accompanied with the above made me feel extremely depressed and bitter.

Well, over the last 2 months things have really picked up. I'm about to start a new role within the same company, sales based, in the next few weeks and that's something I've always thought about doing anyway. It's got me excited. More importantly however, is that I've been seeing this absolutely brilliant girl, older and going through a divorce and plenty of life experience. She's fantastic on all levels and I haven't felt this good in years. Both madly in love with eachother and spent some brilliant times together already. What's even better, when I'm with her I'm so wrapped up in everything I rarely notice the pain and to be fair it couldn't spoil things anyway.

I'm hoping for a better new year and I can safely say if my health does resolve, I'll be the happiest man alive - and that's without a Supra.

Just wanted to get this point across. No matter how bad things do feel at the time, something great always does seem to come around the corner. :)

Thanks all really appreciate it.

She's brilliant and beautiful in every way. 30, small petite blonde who's stunning and Northern Irish! She's a great cook, a great physical workout and she actually cares about others unlike some of my previous partners!

Here's to 2009.
