peter richards
i think thats just made up to imply the polish are crap , the walls arnt plastered in the one scene you can still see the joints , so no way would the rads be fitted . pot kettle and black springs to mind, probably just trying to repair the sh1te reputation they have, only overdone it , which then backfires lol
Willson
i think thats just made up to imply the polish are crap I agree. I watched "Bobski the builder" recently on tv, and the Polish work was MUCH better than the English in the two cases they showed.

Paul
I agree. I watched "Bobski the builder" recently on tv, and the Polish work was MUCH better than the English in the two cases they showed. Oh yeah, like when the woman had to get him to check the dimensions after they had dug the footings out and the twats were about three foot out ! The Polish guy almost ended up out of pocket as he didn't have a clue, had the camera crew not been there I guarantee that he would have cut more corners. Tannhauser
I agree. I watched "Bobski the builder" recently on tv, and the Polish work was MUCH better than the English in the two cases they showed. I watched that. That couple who employed the Poles wanted the Moon on a stick. The fact that they were actually on site when they said they would be puts them three rungs up the ladder from most of the builders I've dealt with (to be fair, we've used some really good ones, too, but a lot were unreliable). Might have known you'd butt in If that woman hadn't of been there then they would have built it three foot smaller and that's good? Also the drain issue they had wasn't forseen, again had the camera crew not been there then he would have bodged it. Agreed that the English builder was shit too in that programme. I think it was the other bloke's work that was being investigated by Building Regs at the end of the programme, which would suggest that he was even more clueless and/or prone to cutting corners. I might be misremembering it, but I thought it showed that the extension the British bloke built was pretty shocking. Not that one comparison proves anything. I'd forgotten about the footings, to be honest. But I've had builders make pretty large and basic mistakes on projects (my other half always picks them up, not me), which they've had to rectify. I'm not pro-Polish builder or pro-British builder (can you say the same?), but on that ONE comparison, I think the British guy came off worst. I agree the Brit came off worse but had it been the other way round then there would have been cries of racism

Konrad
I agree the Brit came off worse but had it been the other way round then there would have been cries of racism It wouldn't be any cries and you know this. Contrary to popular belief polish immigrants are not biggest group in UK, there is plenty with bigger numbers. All the noise made by The Sun and Daily Mail is just because they know noone will pull out "racism" stick and Poles usually have no time to defend themself from crap as they are too busy working About youtube: don't be silly, even with my VERY limited knowledge about plumbing I wouldn't do it this way. No qualified plumber (in Poland 3 year course + 1 year of practice before diploma) could do this. Whoever was doing it (if it's not set up) knew only that plumbing have something to do with water... Paul
The cries of racism would come from British 'lefties' mate, those that have helped ruin this country already
