paul_y3k
Anyone play poker here ? Whilst in Texas I was invited to the regular Wednesday night game and since I've been back my firends and i have been playing a fair pit too. I bought some chips from Argos but there isn't really enough and we end up swapping chips etc with each other .. so given that we now play a fair bit, I'm lokoing to buy smoe more chips. Any suggestions on what to actually get, I guess a set that has a high number of one chip with the amount other colours diminising .. ie 200X red 150X blue 100 green 50X black most srts on ebay seem to be 500 chips ? Will 500 chips be enough for 8 people playing a protracted night ? (hey we even unscrew a cpl of lighbulbs to get the right ambience lol )

lust2luv
'Must Have It' stores have 75% off most things at the moment, including poker chips (they do some pretty big sets), might be worth checking out before they're gone (if the Swindon branch hasn't closed already - it was open yesterday. terribleturner
I think 500 is the standard biggest bundle you can get. At that will cost about £60-70. All depends on how much your willing to pay for the chips and what designs you want (if you care that is). A mate went over to Las Vegas and spent a couple of hundred on some real quality chips only to leave them in his hotel room
