Gazboy
I hope this gets passed on to me when I remortgage in March next year Isn't there a big 'hoo-ha' that the banks aren't passing on these cuts from the last rate cut?

AndrewOW
Isn't there a big 'hoo-ha' that the banks aren't passing on these cuts from the last rate cut? Yeah, its very naughty isn't it? That's why I'm hoping they would've done by the time I remortgage. I think it takes about a month to kick in, allegedly. w00t! Just how low will it go, I'm hoping for 0%. 0% fixed rate for 5 years would be fantastic IMO! As I've got an interest only mortgage it would mean no payments. Great! The banks will obviously put their mark up on and dont be surprised if you see 2-3% above base if it drops that low
penguin
is anyone who has a mortgage really going to go out and spend the cash they are saving? i'm not - going to leave it on the side for when the cronies put up interest rates in the future and screw everyone.
