outatime
Thanks, it does a look a good cruise. The cruise company have said they will give 25% (£750) back upon cancellation. If anyone offers more than that by tonight, it is theirs. It is just a shame I can't go, I could do with a break! My parents are ok, thanks for asking. Mum is, according to the NHS, bi-polar. She booked the cruise during an 'up' period and is now very much in a down state of mind.
bolarbag
Sorry to hear about their troubles, I'd love to go on this, I really need a holiday right now, but no chance my work would let me off then - dammit!Shocking the company arent giving you a refund! charlton
You wanna be careful its getting close to 100% cancellation fee if its not their already - does their insurance not cover it? Did they book through an agent or direct with Royal Caribbean? I'm only asking as I'm at work

If we cancel tomorrow we get £750 back. I cannot change names until we have receipt of payment, so this evening would be the latest really - unless someone in the midlands gives my brother cash tomorrow morning! It is not covered under insurance or with the tour operator as my mother did not disclose her illness at the time of booking

If it was booked through us I might of been able to have a word with someone, there are still a few staterooms avaiable so I doubt they'd be up for giving it up so easily. Has the agent called reservations to see if the cost can transfer the cost to another cruise at a later date? I'm about to leave now but can see if I can do anything for you - no promises though as I'm in IT not the operations side of things

charlton
Bad news is that it cant be transfered to another cruise as its too close to sailing but I didn't get to speak to the person I need to as they are not in today. I'm back at 8 tomorrow so I'll see if I can catch them then. What's their surname or booking ref just in case?
