patrikbrunt
I might be able to acquire a set of these wheels, does anyone have a picture of a red supra with the wheels in black or a dark grey/gunmetal colour? or even just in silver? these are the wheels in question. http://www.j-imports.com.au/uParts/RegaMasterBlack.jpg thanks
Luxluc
What size are they.. 18 inch??
patrikbrunt
no they are 17's. the ones in the pic are not the actual wheels I should add, unfortunately, although that is the look im hoping to achieve.
Ian W
Decent wheels...wrong for the Supra though imo.
patrikbrunt
do you think? im really struggling to picture them on it hence why im asking if anyone has a pic of them on a soop. ive looked through the 'show off your wheels' thread but no luck there
Luxluc
I think black alloys can look nice on a red car. However, I think 17 inchers will definately be to small for a Supe. 18 inchers would nicely fit a standard Supe, 19 inchers look good if you body kit the car. Ian W
Nothing wrong with 17s, they just need to be the right shape and those imo are not. The slips are very popular on the integra type r forum as they're very similar to Spoon SW388's.
patrikbrunt
do agree that 18's would prob look better on a big car like a supra, but im a bit tight for cash so im looking for a cheap set of wheels really, plus tyres are a bit cheaper for 17s. Did notice when I searched google about them many of the sites that came up were honda related! anyway if I can get them cheaply enough ill buy them and just see how they look, if crap itll be onto ebay for them!! marbleapple
Here is mine with 17's... not the same as yours but you get an idea as to colour. I personally want to go bigger and chrome... like the ones on JamieP's old car.
Nic
Again not the same wheels but similar colour. http://img396.imageshack.us/img396/277/supra003gp0.jpg
Guest CoolsBlue
black wheels will look good, but those wont, 17", will be to small in the centre..black will make them look like 16's...
Stratty
black wheels will look good, but those wont, 17", will be to small in the centre..black will make them look like 16's... Very true... I have only recently changed mine from 17 to 19 and am so glad I did it. I have kept the 17's for track days but the 19's are for posing.. caseys
I've got a red one with black 18' Rota GTRs in that finish.... it's very close. Want a pic?
hoff
I have the 18" Rota D1 Drifs in black with a stainless steel dish and they look like 16"s. 17" though is great on the supe as long as the widths and offsets are right, from a handling point of view. They will need to be around 8/8.5 fronts and 9.5 rears both with -50 offsets ideally.
supratoy
The slips are coooooool but are they wide enough for the supra? Im sure they only do them in 8inch wide at most:blink: If Im wrong then I say get them:D

patrikbrunt
well apparently they are 17x9 fronts and 17x10 rears... and 45 offset. Thanx for the pics, both look stunning. I adore the lexus rims, theres a guy at work who has them on his GS, I keep meaning to ask if he fancies selling them !! If I get the rims they will be on the car by sunday so i'll post up pics.
