paul mac
What grade of pads are you using? does sound like a pad issue
SteveR
How old is the fluid - if any moisture has made it's way into and diluted the brake fluid you'd get this scenario. (I think!) Changing fluid is a cheap & easy way potential fault to eliminate so I'd do that even if the fluid wasn't that old.
Paul Whiffin
Sounds like something isn't quite right there Botachi. You've pretty much the same set-up as mine, but I've still got the ABS, and the pedal pressure is what I would call "perfect". It could be that without the ABS pump the master cylinder size is wrongly sized, but it could also be air in the system, wrong spec fluid or wrong pad selection. Either way something doesn't sound quite right. We run the Time Attack Supra's without the ABS pumps and there fine. Sounds like pads or air to me.
