Was a good turn out this month. Nice to see some new faces from here as well: Brian, Shytot (Ian), Ray and Col (can finally put faces to names). Shame about the RX7 although it did kind of add some excitement to the night (or am i just sick and twisted???).

It was certainly the busiest it has been this year due to the light night and good weather and spose it can only get busier. Hopfully get even more supras down next time.

i'm definitely up for next month as long as i'm not away with work or anything

was all set for coming down but the tyres i put on on Sat were rubbing the arches on little bumps so i didn't want to drive it anywhere

typically, i ended up getting replacements sorted during my lunch hour on Monday but then i'd already assumed i wasn't going and couldn't really make the arrangements at short notice to still make it down

as for the RX7, PHEW! i thought it was a Supra at first, Gareth's to be honest!!

so, count me in for next month

Hope youre still enjoying the car Wez and looking forward to seeing it soon. Get next month written in your diary, i have already.

nah it was just the silver that made me think that initially!

didn't fancy butchering it myself & when i went to the local bodyshop, not only did he admit to using a similar technique, he wasn't of the opinion that heating the paintwork may save repainting & would have just repainted both rear quarters. total cost £300

so i just thought i'd get the original size tyres bought & get it back on the road where i prefer it ;) and i have sold the Yokos on :(

Just before ambulance arrived i was chatting to him, sheepishly admitted that it was his own fault. He was flying down the sliproad, which is a long gradual bend, and was reaching for something behind him. Im assuming he pulled the car with his other hand by mistake and when he looked forward and tried to correct it, it was too late and lost it. Driver came out of it ok but passenger looked like he cracked a few ribs.

Guest FTO DAVE

Was a good night, I was the lad in the white FTO that came down with Ian. I feel for the guy with the RX7, I wonder if he managed to glue his bumper back together? :taped:

I'd have one if I could afford the insurance :violin: I'm upgrading to a 2 litre v6 mivec though soon (same price as a 1.8 16v premium) May have it by the next meet, hopefully with my new bumper and skirts on :p
