Guest skans789 Posted November 1, 2008 Share Posted November 1, 2008 Hello there, I just bought My supra tonight and bought it back on a recovery(no reason for bringing it back on recovery truck i own one so it was easier just bringing it back on that instead of taking someone with me) Ok so i went to buy it took it for a test drive and drove it for a couple miles drove like a dream, so done filled paper work in gave money, come back out started the car (started fine) loaded it on to the truck, now got home and was shedding it down with rain, so went to a petrol station to off load it, Whilst was on the recovery truck tried to start it and it wasnt having none of it, tried again but nothink, just ticking (started motor), so got a mate to come and give me hand pusing it off, got it off and tried putting jump leads on it and it started to turn over but not start, it wants to start but seems like somethings in the way, when you take the leads off it just clicks, but when leads are on it tries to turnover, got no idea what it is as, it started there perfectly, Its a J Spec TT Auto Supra, Any Help Much Appreciated, Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SimonT Posted November 3, 2008 Share Posted November 3, 2008 I would check the battery and starter motor first as i had a similar problem, the car was turning over but not starting and it turned out there was no pressure in the fuel line caused by a sticking fuel pump as apparantly this can happen now and again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
