hadyn
I've just got my Supra back from the garage after having its MOT done and some goodrich braided brake hoses fitted. Everything seems fine and the mechanic didnt report any issues when I spoke to him on the phone. However, I have checked on the receipt today and it says "note - aftermarket hoses with no banjo locators". What does this mean? Do you ideally need banjo locators for the goodrich brake hoses? Heres a pic of the install on the front:
paul mac
the stock hoses have a location peg to get the hose in the correct orientation i presume he means that, as long as the new hoses copy the orientation of the old ones its absolutely nothing to bother about
SatSport
Banjo bolts are where the hose attaches to the caliper iirc, and mine didn`t have any either, but i emailed the nice lady at Goodridge and explained so i got them posted out foc. Also i noticed the new ones had a slightly bigger fluid bore.
hadyn
OK doesnt seem to be anything worth worrying about I presume I'll be fine running without banjo locators?
