TRD Split rims

i am after getting rid of these rims. see my garage for a pic of them. they are 18's with some curbed marks ect on them, and could do with a refurb which i have been quoted £320 including splitting and sandblasting, the full works. i just cant be bothered to do it. these rims are not easy to find anywhere i once did and they were £3000 for the set plus import ect. i am after a swap for some 18's in black or charcol grey, not even bothered if they are no where near as expensive as these. just some decent looking ones. i will have a look at the sizes ect on my lunch. cheers

sensible offers will be considered but will leave me wheeless between getting the money and the new ones. unless people are willing to pay for them, i use the money for the new ones and then send the trd ones

the other option is i could put new ones on credit card, aslong as i got the right price for the TRD rims. would prefer swap though, makes life a little easyer

A wee bit far.Live in N Ireland.Thats the thing here;if you want something done its a captive audience,so some places charge what they want.Lack of competition. In the end i am where you are.Its easier to buy new rims than to to go to the hassle and expense of £600 just for a refurb. Can't justify it to myself.Good luck with your own (sharp looking)wheels.Hope i'm not puttind a scud(curse) on my car by talking about new rims.Every time i think of doing something because i want to,my car takes a wobbler and blows something!Supra,Supra why do i love thee.[sAD][/sAD]

I refurbed my old split rims myself, well, sort of myself, basically I took them apart myself, then sent the centres off to be powdercoated, and had the rims polished and re anodised, you will probably find that those rims are clear anodised, make sure the refurb company are going to do that.

seeing as a lot of you have asked me to put a price on these i would be asking for 680-700 for them. i think thats damn cheap for these as they are not easy to find or cheap. if you include the cost of a refurb on them your looking at just under the price of what you can get just one of these wheels new, if you can find one. the only problem with a sale is id hve to get my new ones with the money first and then send them straight out when the new ones arrive, i know some are ok with that. sorry but cant drive around to work and that with no wheels on.
