AlexM
I've just been reminded of this by someone at work, looks like a fantastic day out. Will anyone from the club be attending? http://www.santapod.co.uk/e_flame.php

Gerry
It'll be the only warm place in the UK, wise choice Car going into garage that day so no from me Have you ever been to Flames & Thunder ? Cold isn't the word, by 3.00pm you can't feel your nose, ears and hands. By 5.00pm you can't see much cos of the streaming tears in your eyes and if you're a bloke and need a wee - foget it By the time it gets dark you just stand / sit there willing that hypothermia kills you fairly quickly and have replaced your hankey with a bucket tied onto your nose. When the end does finally come (the show - not life) you sit in your car for two hours growing an ulcer as you are cut up by wan&ers in the huge que to get out of the place. On the good side... the lighting is great and watching the rocket / jet car in the dark is brilliant. Good Tip: park as close to the entrance as you can and walk to the track, as getting out is really a nightmare.
