AndrewOW
It turns out that they are heroes. In Spain http://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/international/ross-and-brand-are-heroes%2c-say-spanish-200810301363/
RiceRocket
Ross 'punishment' has ended and his show is back on tonight. I don't normally watch it but I think I'll tune in for the grovelling apology- "I'm weally sowwy"
Carl_S
Hearing the granddaughter on the radio today, forgiving Ross, and being prepared to "move on", and look forward to watching Ross's show is very mature, and a testament to her, and those that have helped her through the debacle. That's a very reserved way of saying she's a **** (insert your own insult)
michael
The BBC are really milking this now, seems a bit odd considering he's a "disgraced" employee, anyone would think they are using this to bump viewing figures and as a result attract guests who want to pimp Nazi films. I suspect everyone (other than the BBC managers who jumped on the sword) has seen a benefit from this whole thing, Brand has a tour based on it, Ross is back to normal with added publicity, Sachs is a household name rather than just being "that guy who played Manuel" and the Satanic Slut woman has made a few quid flashing her baps to a bigger audience than usual. It's a farce.
Carl_S
Oh God. I think I can see where you are coming from on that, but I did not intend it to mean that at all. Is not forgiveness a very advanced place to be, and if she has reached that place then all credit to her.

Is not forgiveness a very advanced place to be, and if she has reached that place then all credit to her. If you're really that naive you are a Nigerian scam artists dream come true. She doesn't need to "move on" - she was never bothered by it in the first place. It was an opportunity for her unknown bunch of singing soft porn artists to get some free publicity and to milk it for all it's worth. If it hadn't happened, she couldn't have even got on the radio. Tannhauser
She doesn't need to "move on" - she was never bothered by it in the first place. You seem very certain. What evidence do you have to support this?
Carl_S
So it's win-win all round then for the main participants. If you are right that would perhaps explain why she didn't sound that sincere on the radio. But then, she did say something like the hurt caused to her family. So if this is all a sham, how are we to know their minds, and know if genuine offence wasn't really caused, either to her, her grandad, or their family?
