This makes interesting reading..

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7694989.stm

I'd assumed the show was live - in fact it was recorded two days earlier and still the producers of the show thought it was OK. They even called Sachs and asked him if it was ok to broadcast.

My god. Is that true? How ridiculous. Once it all settles down the gruesome twosome will be back on even larger salaries and compensation to suit!

EDIT: I knew about the pre-recording :)

first time I ever heard of Brand was on an advert on MTV where he was up in front of an 'MTV Manager' asking if he could come back as he would be good this time, honest. That was about 5 years ago, so I would assume he has a history of being controversial.

I think its all well OTT and will miss Ross on Radio2 but both will be back.

The documentary about this is on now (that's right, a documentary!) - what a joke the whole thing was!

It's not the "Brand is the devil" show I was expecting it to be, seems to have been made with a degree of common sense... on Channel 5... I wonder if they have signed him up to something?

Nice to see the old Dancefloor Chart stuff though :)
