marc_p
My only question is did Brand shag her? Yes, yes he did:d http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1081414/Georgina-Baillie-I-DID-sleep-Brand-Ross-sacked.html Legend!!!
Alex
It is coming up to Christmas (sorry, the festival period), they all have new books it seems I'm tempted to write one myself...'The life and times of Gav'... I expect to print and sell 2 copies. Why would you buy 2 copies of the same book
lust2luv
I listened to it this morning and thought it was hilarious, but maybe that's just me. Like most of the country, I would never have heard about it if Sachs hadn't complained so vehemently. Oh and there were only 2 complaints apparently when the show was originally aired. As it was prerecorded, and Radio 2 chose to air it, I can't see why they're being banned until an investigation takes place.
mathew
Sack them both IMO. The pair of them are grossly overpaid - with OUR license money. its not OUR license money they are being payed with. its the bbc's money.we pay the fees to the bbc it is then up to them how they spend it. ot though its all an over raection. people will complain about anything these days. just look at the katy perry incident. flamed for posing with a knife a few years back then criticised even more when she posed with a spoon! So the BBC have time to sort out what to do. It will appease those upset by it. I'm expecting a few big PR stunts to get people to forgive Woss and Brand. So you think someone is worth 18 million over four years of chatting shite on the TV and Radio whilst making cheap jokes at someone. Thank God your not looking after my licence money. These people are grossly overpayed for what they do and our money would be better spent on something else. Scrap the licence fee if this is where our money is spent. I rather make a coffee whilst the adverts are on than be made to pay for this over indulged bunch of time wasters like the BBC and it's overpayed presenters

garethr
How is it "hilarious" to leave obscene messages about his granddaughter on a 78 year-old man's phone? Politician spouts family values then shags his assistant? Fair target. Retired actor whose granddaughter sleeps with a crap comedian and is a member of a raunchy dance troop? Not a fair target in any way, shape, or form. My father is a little older than Andrew Sachs, and if someone like Brand did that to him I'd want to hurt him, let alone see him sacked. ManwithSupra
I can’t stand Brand and Ross, I find it amazing that either of them ever managed to get on TV or radio. Brand is just a idiot his "humour" is awful.... he reminds me of the "school class room idiot" that always had to be stupid to make himself think he is funny, when really everyone is thinking "twat". Ross oh sorry i mean "Wross" well he can’t even speak properly (i haven’t got anything against people who can't etc but really on TV and Radio??) and his humour is about as dry as a salt pot. Either of their shows are hardly entertaining. Both should be sacked ... never should of been on TV or radio in the first place.

Tannhauser
As a rule, what celebrities say and do is of zero interest to me and I resent it crowding out issues of real importance in the papers and on TV. On this occasion though, I think it's worthy of a bit of attention. Seems to me that there's growing trend for guys like them -and the broadcasting authorities - to take absolutely no account of those on the receiving end of humour and satire. If you are in any way in the public eye, you're fair game This is a good example. A 78 year old guy who was in the public eye 20+ years ago is apparently fair game. To me, it doesn't matter if his grand-daughter is the biggest trollop in Europe, they were still intruding into a personal relationship between grandfather and grand-daughter - and doing it on a national broadcast. What disturbs me is that there's apparently no limit to how vicious or intrusive shows like this can get. In fact, the more outrageous, the better, because it's good for the ratings. That's the arrogance that lies behind it, on the performer's part and on the BBC's: "we can do what we like, because the public loves it." Lbm
As tasteless as it seems to be, I find it astonishing it was then broadcast. Who edited the programme, who then OK'd it to be broadcast? This was not a live situation.

This was not a live situation. The BBC maybe? As I mentioned earlier, I really don't know how this was seen to be fit to broadcast. The blame lies with the producer of the show IMO, as those 2 twerps do tend to blabber a load of crap in the belief its 'humour'!
marc_p
Surely the grandaughter will be loving the publicity, why do you think she slept with Brand in the first place.
