Guest Terry S
Big up to Kean @ BL. He managed an 8.9@147mph 1/4 mile, and assures me he let off! Everything used on the car is off the shelf, and available through Vortex in the UK. Video can be seen here: http://www.boostlogic.com/videos/Kean8.9final.wmv

Guest Terry S
worth noting it was his first time out in a freshly built car too!
Lazarus
The launch on the second pass (the 8.9 run) look absolutely perfect to my uneducated eye, the rear end just squats down and its off like a bullet.
Guest Terry S
Agreed, you can tell there is more to come from the first trap speed. They must prep the track so well for the cars to hook up like that. I almost feel sorry for the diff!

ewizzy
What makes it sound so god damn gorgeous? is it a combination of the BIG single and external wastegate? I'm guessing that the wastegate is just venting exhaust straight out of a foot long pipe when it gets too much boost? I dunno, I just kno I want mine to sound like that..... [dream] Fantastic start though specilly for a first time out
Guest Terry S
I think it is The APP car, which won the event. The noise is the BL 4" exhaust, same as on my car with the standard WG set up.
Whitelightning
Hmmm sounds promising. WL had a vented wastegate with a small section of exhaust piping on too.
