Hi all, I guess you have all seen this and discussed it (if so can u give me the link) but what do u think?

I rang about it and the guy was a little.....evasive of a few questions. It rang alarm bells. If he's here I'm sorry but you need to be less cagey!

Your thoughts anyway? I'm in the market for a Supra.

He seemed very nervous on the phone. First he was "desperate to sell it cos he was buying his mates Skyline" then later on he "wasnt bothered if I don't sell it cos I'll just keep it" When I pointed out he told me earlier that he was keen for a quick sale he got a little aggressive and told me it's a "f**king bargain so do u want it or not! Init!!"

It has zero history with it too so the mileage isn't guranteed.

It just rang alarm bells with me. I thought it had gone up too!??

It may be a bargain but it may also be a wrong un!

If its as great as he says u gotta ask yourself why it hasnt gone yet?

Car looks Good, price is good, seller sounds like a nob.

Car needs better visual balancing by adding a front splitter or aftermarket bumper

Then again, if the seller is a nob, he hasnt kept history etc, what sort of maintenance etc has it had ? People like that usually cut corners.

Having said that, it could be a great car.

I used to be indecisive, but now im not so sure !!

Well, When I asked him about Service History he said he did it himself, on pushing him on this he reluctantly admitted he changed the oil and air filter....... it was imported in 1995.

notice how he avoided the "any accidents" question!!

He says its sold but that was back in August? Is the guy on EBAY selling it already or maybe it fell through?

This was for sale on a local car site to me and it was up for £3500 and those wheels really arnt the right size and they are 9 1/2" all round. It could be a great car but when the owner is such a helmet i would definatly walk away. You just dont talk to someone like that when you are trying to sell a car.

Im selling this supra on ebay currently, & yes i bought the car from a guy on driftsworks forum from wales & payed £3500 for it

i can remember speaking to you few weeks ago ?? for your info i wasnt nervous or aggressive towards you at all, i tryed to answer all your questions as honest as i could, even though you didnt really sound genuinely interested & seemed like another time waster imo

car is in good mechanical condition & looks/drives nice, it does have 9.5j alloys all round, some people prefer staggered fitment (eg) 9.5 rear & 8.5j fronts on a rear wheel drive car like the supra, however even with the same width wheels car still drives ok, apart from that only other bad points are which i have mentioned in my advert,

also car is hpi clear, & is realistically priced at £4750 ovno which includes fresh 6 months tax & has mot till may 2009, also fitted new front/rear brake pads, added clear wing repeaters, service history wise it has few old uk mots certs, few other invoices, & some paper work in japanese

cars open to any inspection

& just to add there is few very nice examples for sale on this forum currently which have been for sale for a while & few are still available which is possibly due to the current market/credit crunch etc thats why not shifting, not because cars are dodgy in any way including mine.

this is my third supra (very nice cars whether tt or na)

only selling as i feel like a change, looking for either a skyline r33 gtr or another supra but a 6 speed tt this time.

Yikes!!! awkward.........

I didn't mean any disrespect from my post. I just wanted some advice from the guys on here. I wondered if they knew the car at all.

Thanks for the heads up anyway.

It's one of 4 cars I am currently considering.
