bens747
Most of the Supes are about 10 years old. Mine has done 130, 000 kms so not much in miles really. Was shocked at the state of the rotor arm and cap. One of those things that peeps tend to forget. Changed both and now much improved fuel and performance. Any other peeps had the same or if not I suggest you check out ur rotor arm as mine was flat lol. ....
JustGav
Just to add, this is purely for the NA boys here Would be interesting to see the TT boys looking for the rotor arm.... mind you.... sweet revenge

DaveK
Where did you get replacements? Can I get them in Halfords? I have replaced the dist caps / rotor arms twice on the 964 but have neglected the Supra. Although I confess I haven't looked closely enough at my engine to know it needed them....... bens747
Sorry to say and disappointed with myself for neglecting the engine and in the end it costs you more. Am now sorting it all out. This was a problem highlighted through another problem with the core plug. Again, neglect. I got my cap and rotor arm from Camberly Autofactors ... special order but still got it the next day. Think they are based all over Surrey. I have to say as in the thread that mine was flat and pretty worn out. I think this is something that most peeps forget for the N/A as is out of site, out of mind. All I know it has deffo improved fuel consumption and performance...... Edited October 29, 2008 by bens747 (see edit history)
